Cool tool for old pics

So I had this super old photo of my grandparents and wanted to see it in color. My friend told me about Palette.fm. It was really simple to upload. The black and white to color converter did its thing pretty fast. I thought the colors looked decent, not fake or anything. It was a fun way to bring an old memory to life, definitely worth trying out if you have old photos lying around.

Detailed vintage photo restoration

I decided to try the professional colorization workflow for a very old, faded portrait. The ordering process was straightforward on the website. Uploading the image was simple, and the system gave me a few color grading presets to choose from which was helpful. The AI did a really impressive job with the portrait colorization, correcting some skin tones and making the fabric look realistic. I opted for a high-resolution download, which was available quickly after processing. I even tried a batch colorization for a set of similar photos, and that worked smoothly too. It's a great tool for anyone looking to seriously enhance their vintage photos.

Solid colorizer, minor hiccup

I used Palette.fm to colorize a few historical photos for a project. The overall quality of the colorization was quite good, especially for landscapes. The skin tones were mostly accurate too. However, one of my high-resolution downloads took a bit longer than expected to process, maybe an extra minute or two. The image editor was useful for minor tweaks. Good value for the quality, but download speed could be more consistent.

Always reliable service

I've used Palette.fm several times now for vintage photo restoration. This time I colorized some old family photos for Father's Day. Just like my previous orders, the automatic image colorization worked great. The colors are always natural-looking. It's why I keep coming back; consistent quality and easy to use.

Is there a free trial for the Pro features? Can't find it.

R RituAgarwal 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
They used to have one, but I think they removed it. Now it's just the free uses.

I think they just give you a few free credits when you sign up, not a full trial.

That's what I thought. Wanted to test the batch colorization.

Sometimes my bank flags it as suspicious if it's a new subscription. Call your bank.

Hey, anyone used this for pro work? Like, for clients? Wondering if the commercial license is legit or if I gotta worry about copyright stuff later on.

D David Torres 2 months ago
I use it for my freelance graphic design stuff all the time, never had an issue. The pro plan specifically says it includes commercial usage rights, so you should be good.
4
A Andre Patel 2 months ago
Yeah, if you're on a paid plan, you're covered for commercial use. The free tier probably not, but otherwise, it's fine.
